To operate as an Itinerant Vendor within the City of Valdez, the business must be registered for the current year. Prior to completing this application, please complete the City of Valdez business registration process.

If you haven't completed the registration process your itinerant vendor application will be denied. The business registration application can be found here.

Please note that the business registration requires a year-round physical location. For itinerant vendors, this is often their home office.

Mobile Vendor means an itinerant vendor or conducts business from a vehicle or other conveyance while traveling on public streets, sidewalks, alleys, or other public ways of the city.

Stationary Vendor means an itinerant vendor who contucts business: (1) from a vehicle or other conveyance upon privately or publicly owned property, but not while travelling on the public street, sidewalk, alley or public way of the city, or (2) by means other than a structure permanently affixed to real property.
